As a teenager I started detailing cars to make extra money. I’ve always enjoyed cleaning things, I’m a bit OCD and I love the instant results from cleaning. My girlfriend was home on maternity leave and we had someone there painting the house who, thankfully, was able to help her flip the breaker since the house was filling with smoke. Later, when I called the company (yes, I had to call them!), they didn’t even offer to come look at it or give any advice on what to do. I paid to have the outlet replaced, no big deal. But I was disappointed in how the situation was handled. That’s not how I do business. When I stopped and thought about it in the fall of 2023, I decided I could do this better and offer exceptional customer service like people deserve.

I’ve also noticed, since becoming a homeowner, that it can be incredibly difficult to just get someone to show up and do the work… it really blows my mind.
